The mission of Cathedral Productions is to bring glory to God and to bless His people as we support the vision and mission of The Cathedral International. This is accomplished through the use of audio, video and computer technologies. The ministry responsibilities include: enhancing the live worship experience and special events through video projection and sound reinforcement; capturing the live worship experience and other events on video for the purpose of broadcasting, church history and duplication for evangelism and sale; duplicating and selling the audio, books and other items; promoting upcoming events and ministry activities; and reaches the masses via internet, radio and other media outlets.

SUNDAY SCHOOL (for children & adults)
The Cathedral Sunday School provides a welcoming Christian environment where students receive a solid Biblically-based Christian education that’s relevant for today. Our lessons strengthen faith, encourage growth, equip for life and under gird the vision of the Bishop and Church mission. Classes for all ages are held every Sunday in the Family Life Enrichment Center (FLEC).

SIDEWALK SUNDAY SCHOOL – (June – August)
Sidewalk Sunday School (SWSS) is an exciting evangelistic program that brings the message of Jesus Christ outside to the community and is designed to promote fun, fellowship, and faith-building! Our relevant object Bible lessons encourage active learning, while outdoor games, snacks and prizes are a welcomed treat! SWSS is for children ages 4 to 12.

Vacation Bible School
Cathedral International’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a week long specialized educational opportunity for both children and adults that is intentionally designed to deepen a hunger for GOD and His Word, and reinforce the church’s mission to Evangelize, Education, Emancipate, Empower and Expand! Students will play with purpose as they: create theme based arts and crafts projects; explore their dramatic talents through acting; and participate in a global missionary initiative project which promotes giving and community!

MISSION
The mission of the Cathedral Educare & College Support program is to conduct, educational workshops for youth of high school and college age, as well as provide physical and spiritual support to students away at college. Also, Educare’s responsibility is to raise funds and administers the Cathedral Educare Scholarship process offered to all youth who are members of the Cathedral.
Over the last decade, more than $200,000 has been distributed in scholarship funds to Cathedral International members. Additionally, significant contributions have been made to the United Negro College Fund.

Cathedral International is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships for the 2018 – 2019 academic year. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded to selected full-time and part-time students seeking first time Associate, Bachelor or Graduate Degrees. Applicants must be members of Cathedral International and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applications must be postmarked by June 23, 2018, only completed applications submitted via US Mail will be considered.

The Hospitality/Greeters Ministry at The Cathedral does an exceptional job in making church members and visitors feel welcome. They are the initial contact of “The Cathedral Experience.” They set the tone by greeting everyone with friendly hearts and warm, loving spirits.

This ministry was started by the late Elder Robert Chapman. Intercessory Prayer Group exists to cover every aspect of ministry with prayer. They pray while services are being conducted. They pray for others and they support and pray for the vision of Bishop Hilliard. Prayer is also conducted on Wednesday mornings at 5:30 am in Perth Amboy (205 Smith Street) and Saturdays at 12 noon (277 Madison Avenue).

The mission of The Cathedral Men’s Ministry is to empower men to be Determined, Disciplined and Doing. “As iron sharpens iron, so each man sharpens the other.” The mission is accomplished through Bible Study every Sunday 8:15am to 9:30am as well as through practical outreach activities like fellowship breakfasts and street evangelism. Each man is encouraged to practice “real accountability” through connection with a prayer partner and open, honest dialogue with the ministry’s leadership.

They are a team designed to do specific service for the servants of God. At all times they serve as unto the Lord. They are people under authority with responsibility.

The Senior Citizens Ministry was established in 1983 when Bishop Hilliard became pastor. Weekly they meet to have Bible study, arts and craft, guests speakers, and their fellowship luncheon. During the year they conduct fundraisers, go on day trips, and of course conduct their annual Senior’s Fashion Show. Seniors who attend may have “retired” but this ministry keeps them “re-fired” in fellowship and activity.

This ministry targets unmarried individuals ages 27 and older. They meet every First Friday at 8pm in the Donald Hilliard Jr Complex, 205 Smith Street, Perth Amboy NJ. Lively discussions on relevant topics that help singles live an abundant life, visits from special guests and times of fellowship helps the ministry (and each participant) grow.

The Cathedral is sensitive to the high population of Latino families in our communities. We welcome them with our Spanish Ministry. Sunday services are translated in Spanish for the Latino community. Worship service is held every Sunday at 11 am (272 Madison Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ)

Ushers serve the worshipping congregation. The duties of an usher include meeting, greeting, and seating worshippers entering into sanctuary; providing worshippers with church related materials and attending to the needs of the members and visitors. Members of the Ushering Ministry are committed and dedicated to the cause of Christ and represent the general character of the church. “I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalm 84:10

Women’s Ministry is a gathering of sisters for Bible study, book reviews, food, fun, sisterhood and much more. It is an opportunity for women to connect with each other and grow in the things of God. The Women’s Ministry meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday, 7 pm – 8:30 pm, in The Cathedral, 205 Smith Street, Perth Amboy, NY.
